Snapshot: Toast, Peppered Ham, and an Omelet

My current favorite marmalade is ‘Tawny’ Orange Thick Cut Marmalade, made by Wilkin & Sons Ltd. in Tiptree, England. The last of my jar was slathered on the toast pictured here, and now I’m on the hunt for more. My local supplier, the wonderful Boulevard Bread Company in Little Rock, is in the finishing stages of a big remodel, and my marmalade hasn’t been restocked in a while. I’m trying to be patient. Making do in the meantime with some pretty terrific cherry preserves by Bonne Maman. This isn’t suffering, by any means.
