Having an electrician friend willing to come to my house and correct that one, tiny electrical wiring mistake I made in hanging this ceiling fan. Minor detail. The fan works now! Come sit under it! I put it up (almost) all by myself! Don’t be scared!

Signs of profound wisdom in my path recently:

Seen at Macadoodles® Wine Cellar of Springdale, Arkansas. Yes, I like well-made rosé. Another in my household does not, but some of his reluctance to embrace this lovely wine seems to stem from a misconception that one’s Fierce Factor is directly related to the color of one’s drink. Apparently, I’m not the only one who disagrees.

The order I place as soon as I sit down at Local Lime in Little Rock, home of the best frozen margarita and cheese dip around. Snacking and sipping such delicious fare makes perusing the menu for an entree all the more fun.

New music on my iPod getting lots of play:

Up.Rooted, album by Gina Chavez

Beautiful, song by Mali Music

Alone Yet Not Alone, song performed by Joni Eareckson Tada (The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences board of governors never should have rescinded the nomination of Alone Yet Not Alone for Best Original Song. It is indeed Oscar-worthy.)

Dream of You, album by Sharon Corr

Corazón, album by Santana

Matching pajama bottoms and tops. As in a set. As in bought together as an outfit for restful sleep. No more repurposed old tees and yoga pants (which were never used for yoga). I buy the 100% cotton offerings from Garnet Hill. They’re comfortable and unmistakably, first and foremost, pajamas.
